02 What does an IVF cycle usually include?
A standard cycle usually covers consultations, monitoring scans, egg collection, laboratory work and embryo transfer. Medicines, embryo freezing, genetic testing and extra procedures are often charged separately, which is why a written breakdown helps.
03 Why can the final cost of treatment change?
The biggest differences come from the dose of medicines you need, whether embryos are frozen, extra procedures such as ICSI or genetic testing, and whether more than one cycle is needed. Your breakdown shows which of these may apply to you.
